Got a pair of black monks . I don't know if it's a defect or someone had previously n damaged ed the toe box reinforcement. Gave the tips a mirror shine but noticed within a few mint of wearing all the mirror wax on the front toebox tip would crack. Tried several tit and it would always happen on the right foot. Studies it carefully and realized unlike most all the shoes I've owned the tip, even though it looked solid , would slightly fold when walking. This I have never seen before, so either it bad quality or a got one with a defect on the right door. The left is fine. Very disappointed because I had already worn the whole, so I couldn't return for that defect. Not sure if I'll ever buy this brand again because now I'm stuck with a $300 shoe I can't even enjoy. Might be a case of you get what you pay for, or maybe I just got a bad one, will never know now
